I just read here that the 700c size of the Free Radical will be phased out. They’ll probably just start including a brake mount adapter or something. Still, this means I ought to get mine soon!

Yea, get it :) Sounds like you already have to make adaptations so they’re just not pretending that it’s really ready to roll. I’ve got one and I know my very competent bike guy spent a fair amount of time on the phone with Laughter Medicine working out the details (and I ended up getting disk brakes pretty quickly, too, since I was burning up brake pads).
